La canzone del giorno: The Bravery - Honest Mistake
Continua il viaggio settimanale alla scoperta delle band che meglio interpretano il post punk revival.
Oggi vorrei farvi conoscere i Bravery, una band newyorchese formatasi nel 2003 e che ha pubblicato fino ad oggi 3 album, l'ultimo nel 2009 "Stir The Blood".
La loro musica è una sintesi tra post punk revival e new wave, dove le influenze delle sonorità new wave anni '80 sono evidenti, specie quelle dei Duran Duran, dei Cure e dei New Order.
Il rock dei Bravery è un rock alternativo, mai scontato, mai banale, ogni loro canzone è in grado di trasmettervi una grande carica di energia.
La canzone del giorno s'intitola "Honest Mistake", singolo tratto dal loro primo album, pubblicato nel 2005 e intitolato "The Bravery". Buon ascolto...
